Anna and Taylor’s Bentonville Engagement Session | Orchards Park Bentonville AR

Anna and Taylor are absolutely amazing and I loved getting to capture their engagement session at Orchards Park in Bentonville, AR. This whole area is very special to them, so it made sense to start in one of the most beautiful places in the city! 

I connected to this couple so easily! First, their engagement story is similar to my own. When Taylor was going to pop the question, he had been acting nervous and weird all day. So, Anna actually had anticipated that it would be happening! But it was no less joyous and special because she knew. Additionally, Anna works in UMAS here in Arkansas as a therapist within the Mental Health field. It’s a field that I’m super involved with in my own life and really care for! So, I was able to talk to her about her job and what she likes about it. I love being able to truly connect and get to know my clients as we turn into friends!

We showed up at Orchards Park in Bentonville AR, and got started right away. The park is really beautiful with lots of open space, beautiful landscaping and even a pond. It was a bright and sunny day in the 90’s, so we tried as hard as we could to stay in the shade! 

There’s actually a spot with three or four willow trees which is my absolute favorite part of Orchards Park. So, since we were trying to stay in the shade, I made sure to get plenty of pictures there. We set down a blanket and had them posing like they were on a picnic! Those were some awesome shots! 

Then, we moved away from Orchards Park, to downtown Bentonville AR, which is where they got engaged! It was a Saturday, so it was very busy. So, we went up to the parking garage, which is one of my favorite spots because you can see the Bentonville Water Tower in the background. It was a really fun place to take pictures because it’s so different and bright. Having changed into their next outfit, we were able to have some fun, playful candid photos! Between the love you could see between Anna and Taylor and the gorgeous one-of-a-kind sunset glow from being up there, we were able to capture the most awesome photos! 

I had a great time getting to know Anna and Taylor. And, I’m excited for them and their getaway to NC this Fall, where they’re getting married!
