Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista is a beautiful spot for engagement sessions, and I always feel right at home when I get to shoot there. It’s a very popular spot with a short hike up to a gorgeous waterfall and has little trails along a pretty creek with clear waters. A lot of my clients want to go here, and it’s always one of my top spots to suggest!
Jillian and Craig are some of the most laid back and down to earth people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. They were so much fun to be around and comfortable with each other. You could tell they loved each other so much! I warmed up to them easily, and they were also easy to pose and were willing to go along with my suggestions so I could take some of the most awesome shots of them!
They actually met on Twitter, having followed several of the same musical artists. They began following each other and before they knew it, they were dating. Now, they’re getting married! They both love music and dancing, and I had the perfect way to end the session for them!
Along Tanyard Creek is a small dock. Right near the end of day, when everything was getting just perfect, I had them go out onto the dock. The light was so pretty behind them, bouncing off the water as golden rays of sun! I asked them to dance together, and when they took each other’s hands, I captured some of my favorite pictures of them. They danced on the dock, and forgot all about me. Which was perfect! I was able to take photos of them basking in the warm glow of their own love.
As I said, I do a lot of Bella Vista engagement sessions. But, I feel like this one was just so special! I loved getting to work with Jillian and Craig!
