I’m really excited to be the Arkansas family photographer for the Flake family! I met them last fall and did family pictures with them last year. They contacted me again this year and I was super excited! I just really loved working with this family the first time. They’re so sweet and really fun to take pictures with.
Go-To Arkansas Family Photographer Location
The Flake family wanted to do something fun and different this year. So, we decided that they would go to The Momentary in Bentonville Arkansas. It’s a big industrial white building with food trucks outside, a big long pavilion area with music, and inside there are coffee shops, artwork, and people hanging out and working. It’s a super cool spot to check out if you get to visit Bentonville, AR. The location went perfectly with their dressy casual outfits of all blues, reds and white. It was such a colorful and joyful session!
Dedication & Hard Work
And, as always, the Flake family did the one thing that always makes me so happy! They brought their doggo! I love it when my clients bring their pooch to the session! It’s always a fun addition and is super cute.
It turned out their family dog is their middle son’s pet. He saved up his money and bought this beautiful dog. So, I made sure to get some photos with just him and his doggo, because it was extra special for him.
The Flake’s Boys
Their mom is outnumbered because the Flakes have 3 kids – all boys! So it can be a little bit crazy! But they are so sweet and we had so much fun! Their youngest, “Coco” is at an age where he just wants to run and move and be silly. When kids are like that, I just let them have fun and I roll with it, and I always wind up with some amazing pictures!
When I have several young kids, I like to have them all do a race, and these three boys had so much fun doing it! I love doing races like this because you always get these genuine smiles. And it also helps them get all their wiggles out so the family can regroup and get some of those posed photos.
It was really great getting to see them, and getting to be their Arkansas family photographer again.
