Leah + Tommy’s Preachers Son Brunch Wedding Bentonville, Arkansas

Q

Leah and Tommy’s fall wedding was at Crystal Bridges and The Preachers Son in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. This wedding was full of vintage and classic details with the most gorgeous lighting and the best of company!

When I first met Leah and Thomas, we hiked 3 miles together for their engagement session. It was a hot summer day, but they both had the best attitudes and had the most calming spirit. I felt so relaxed being with them and taking their pictures. Their love for eachother was evident just by the way they talked with one another. They are truly peak couple goals!

GETTING READY

Leah and her bridemaids got ready for the wedding at her and Tommy’s home in Centerton. She had all of her girls there to hype her up! Their home reflected so much of their personality and interests. Timeless and full of vintage touches.

Tommy, his father and brother got ready at The Preachers Son. The lighting was perfect because the wedding was in the morning, so we got that beautiful soft morning light to take their photos outside of the venue.

THE FIRST LOOK

We drove over to Crystal Bridges Museum for their first look. Leah chose a trail that she walks often and knew it would be secluded and peaceful. It was absolutely gorgeous that morning and the leaves were just starting to change colors.

I think we can all agree that Tommy is a true gentleman and his first time seeing Leah was priceless! My favorite part was how he kissed her hand and showed her so much love and respect.

We decided to hang around Crystal Bridges for a few more minutes to get some portraits of the two of them before heading back to the Preacher’s Son for the ceremony.

THE CEREMONY

As a wedding photographer I love seeing how each ceremony is unique and learning new traditions that my couples cherish and want to incorporate into their weddings.

This ceremony included a special passing of the rings where their rings were passed to each person attending the ceremony. Each person would take the rings from another and pray over the couple and then pass them along until the rings made it all the way back to them. I loved this and thought it brought such a special way to include the audience in the ceremony. These are some of my favorite photos!

THE RECEPTION + SEND OFF

The rest of the day consisted of family photos, bridal party photos and the couple being announced into the reception! They had a classy yet casual brunch style wedding where they served the yummiest foods and guests were allowed to mingle and enjoy the morning together.
