Jorge and Carina are some of my favorite people! They wanted a Fayetteville Engagement Session at St. Catherine’s, and there was no way that I could say no to them. Carina had been following me on instagram for years, and she was waiting for the right time to book with me! And, I was so excited when she finally did!
When they showed up to St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable, I was so excited! It was summer, so the vines were growing along the side of the chapel, and everything was so green. The owners have a large field in the back of the property that is filled with tall grass and wildflowers, so I couldn’t wait to get them back there for some creative shots.
Perhaps what made this session the most special, was Jorge and Carina’s furry friend. I love it when clients bring their pets, and they did not disappoint! Their cute black goldendoodle was such a fun addition. You can tell they loved him like family and their love for him shows up on camera!
We started with their first outfits, Jorge in a suit and Carina in a blue dress with a big bow in the back. They looked so good together! I caught pictures of them walking their dog and then sitting down for a picnic.
Next, they changed into more casual wear, and we went back behind the cathedral to the wildflower field. The pics back there were pretty… But, I wanted to do something special for them. It took a little convincing, but I did manage to get them to actually lay down in the tall grass and pose for me there! And the photos came out amazing! They are some of my favorite photos from this session!
Finally, they changed back into a different set of formal wear, and we finished the session back in front of the chapel. We took some more formal pictures and you could tell just how much they love each other!
