Abby and Chads engagement session was SO much fun! They wanted to photograph their engagement photos in Fayetteville Arkansas and the University of Arkansas where they first met!
Their love story is unique and shows how much their love has lasted through years and long distances. I was so excited to learn about them and their love story!
Abby and Chad met during their short time at the University of Arkansas. Abby was playing soccer for the University of Arkansas while Chad was playing Baseball for the UofA as well! Both teams kind of hung out together naturally, and so they connected through sports!
Abby decided to switch things up and went off to play Soccer for Kansas State and graduating with her degree, meanwhile Chad continued to play baseball for the UofA and then on to play for the Colorado Rockies, Tourists, and the Dunedin Bluejays.
They reconnected in 2018, 4 years later, and the rest is history!
MAGGIE
Abby and Chad brought their adorable puppy, Maggie with them for their session and I was obsessed! If you know me, you know I love it when my couples bring their fur babies along!
Maggie was so sweet and did a great job posing for the camera!
THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS
For the first part of their engagement session, we explored the U of A campus. The U of A campus is one of my favorite locations to photograph because there is so much variety! I especially love the beautiful and historical architecture throughout the campus!
It was fun to photograph these two on their original stomping grounds where their friendship and relationship began!
A VIEW OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
For most of my engagement sessions, I tell my couples they can choose as many locations they want and have as many outfit changes as they want! Keeping in mind, we only have 90 minutes, most couples choose 1-3 locations that are close together and 2-3 outfits.
Our next stop was just down the road on Dickson Street to my favorite parking garage! This spot is fun because it allows us to have the view of campus and Dickson as the background!
These two totally crushed the lift and spin! I LOVE how these turned out! The lighting was gorgeous and these two made it even better!
WILDFLOWERS + FUN
Our last stop was to get some natural, nature photos. I had the perfect location I knew nearby so we were able to drive over, get changed into their new outfits and get some beautiful shots before sunset!
I think my favorites were the patch of wildflowers right by the parking lot that we took advantage of! And ofcourse the images of Abby pulling Chad along the path for a fun, playful vibe.
I felt like these photos reflected their relationship because throughout the session, these two loved to tease and flirt with each other. You know a relationship is going to last when you can have fun together, especially when someone is following you around with a camera!
I had the best time with these two! Engagement sessions are some of my favorite sessions to photograph and they made this one extra fun!
