I am really excited to share about Amber and Brea’s beautiful lakeside wedding! These ladies are some of the sweetest, down to earth, hilarious, loving and fun people I have had the pleasure of meeting! When Amber reached out to me about photographing their wedding, I was extremely excited! Just from our conversations, I knew I was going to love working with them and I knew their wedding was going to be special!
Undeniably, I have never laughed and cried *happy tears* as I did at this wedding! I witnessed true unconditional love at this wedding amongst all of the people who were there to support Amber and Brea on their wedding day! I left feeling inspired and with a sense of motivation to show every person I encounter with love and respect, to hold my loved ones close, and to laugh more and soak up the joy that life brings us!
First Looks and Getting Ready
Some of my favorite moments from their wedding was Brea’s first look with her dad. He kept telling me he wasn’t going to cry, but he definitely did shed a tear or two when he saw his daughter in her beautiful white suit. I’ll never forget his smile and the biggest bear hug he gave her! Another moment I loved was Amber getting ready with her sister. They giggled and smiled throughout the entire time. Amber’s sister went above and beyond to ensure she was ready to go, even kneeling down while 8 months pregnant to help Amber put her shoes on!
Their Ceremony and Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies
Amber and Brea’s ceremony was at Brea’s grandma’s home that is right on the edge Beaver Lake. The view was absolutely gorgeous as it was the beginning of fall and the leaves were changing. It was overcast and the lighting was beautiful. I bawled my little eyes out as Brea and Amber shared their vows to one another. Brea promising Amber to always make her homemade chocolate chip cookies is something I will never forget!
A Big Ole Group Hug
Finally, the last thing that absolutely brought a huge smile on my face was after the ceremony! Everyone gathered for a big group hug and they all squeezed one another, smiled, cried and cheered. The immense love and support for these two melted my heart. One of my favorite images is of Brea’s grandma hugging and talking with Amber during the family photos. She said “I have and always will love you for who you are, no matter what.” I truly believe in this and have seen the power of loving a person unconditionally; powerful enough to move mountains.
It is an honor that Amber and Brea chose me to be their photographer for this special day in their life. It’s one that I will never forget and has left an imprint on my heart forever.
