Leah and Tommy Engagement Session | Devil’s Den Arkansas

Leah and Tommy are the sweetest and cutest couple ever! They’re getting married in October at the Preacher’s Son in Bentonville Arkansas and I’m so excited to shoot their upcoming wedding! But I also got to shoot their engagement session at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas! 

It was super fun getting to know them! I always find that working with a couple for their engagement session is always helpful in preparing for the actual wedding day. I get to learn about them and what they’re comfortable with and which poses are best for them so that on the wedding day, we are all prepared for the most amazing photos! 

Leah and Tommy wanted to do an engagement session at Yellow Rock at Devil’s Den, Arkansas. They were as excited to go there as I was! I shoot there a lot, and I had just done a session there the week before. And, I always have a great time when I do! 

We met up at the trailhead and it turned out to be a hot day. But they were troopers! I just loved working with these guys! They were so calm and easy to be around. And, I loved how sweet and caring they were to each other. They just made it so comfortable to be around them.  

The whole session, I felt calm because they were calm. And because of this, they were easy to photograph. I just love that they took care of each other throughout the session. I could really tell just how much they loved each other! 

Leah brought a couple different dresses. One was long and flowy, and the other was a shorter, more casual one. And I was able to get some amazing pics of them at the cliffside! They were not phased by the huge cliff at all! I always get nervous around the area, but they were so natural and super easy to pose out there. If it was me on that cliff, I would have been a nervous wreck! But we had a really great time out there! And I can’t wait to hang out with these two again on their wedding day!
